India's $33 smartphone happens to be the first-gen iPhone of 2007

Earlier this week, Mozilla had unveiled a smartphone at a jaw dropping base price of just $33 for Indian customers. The smartphone has been named Intex Cloud FX which runs on the Firefox OS and is the cheapest smartphone available in the market.

You must be wondering how a company can offer a smartphone at such a price.

They must have made some giant cutbacks in the features and specification?

BUT the answer is ‘NO’.

The specifications of this smartphone are almost similar to the specs of first generation iPhone which was released in 2007. Except the RAM all other details are just taken up out of the Apple’s first smartphone.

Intex phone does appear to be lot lighter than the iPhone and it possess a better and faster processor compared to the iPhone. Even in physical looks both the phones appears to be literally twins and it’s really hard to tell the difference.

True Advice

Do not blindly fall for this smartphone head over heels. Remember smartphone’s ability is enhanced only by two things one is the processor and other is the RAM. Truly speaking Intex Cloud FX possess a pathetic RAM which is just 128 MB not 128 GB. There is whole world of difference between Megabyte and Gigabyte. This difference simply means that you won’t be able to run most of the high profile apps and games on this mobile without unwanted glitches and hangs. But still you can have all the fun with your first cheapest smartphone.
